It's almost time for the Christmas madness to begin! My favourite time of year, when I pack up the studio, load the car with all things festive and head off to local nurseries to work a little Christmas magic!
And this year's backdrop? Well, dare I say it... I think it might just be my favourite yet!
As always, I've chosen something timeless, stylish and beautifully festive. No cheesy Christmas props or over-the-top decorations, just gorgeous Christmas portraits that you'll treasure for years to come. And, of course, they'll make the most beautiful Christmas gifts for grandparents and loved ones!
Not Your Average Nursery Photographer
At Brightside Photography Studios, I like to do things a little differently.
I'm a big believer that the best photographs happen when children are happy, relaxed and completely themselves.
I take my time with every child, getting to know their little personalities, making them giggle and ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. There's never any rushing or pressure to smile.
With a little patience, plenty of silliness and some help from the wonderful nursery staff, we capture those gorgeous, natural expressions that parents love.
How Does It Work?
The lovely thing is, as parents, you barely have to lift a finger!
Simply drop your child off at nursery as normal on the day of our visit, complete the photography consent form that will be at the door and leave the rest to me!
What should they wear?
I always recommend sending your little one in with a favourite smart Christmas outfit. Think beautiful festive dresses, cosy knits, little shirts or something classic and simple.
I'll also be bringing along my own little rail of outfits, so there's no need to worry if you'd prefer me to choose something that complements the set.
When will I see the photographs?
Within three days of my visit, you'll receive an email with a link to your child's very own private online viewing gallery.
You can browse the photographs from the comfort of your sofa, choose your favourites and purchase only the images you love.
